PROJECTmagazine is a on-line magazine primarily for Project Managers and equally of interest to managers in the line organisations.
4 to 6 articles are included in each issue as well as the regular columns.

We seek articles addressing all aspects of the project management profession including topics related to general business management.

Articles covering the following topics are particularly welcome:

  • Resident expertise on PMI®’s PMBOK® and the UK’s PRINCE2 methodology.

  • Industry news

  • Software application reviews

  • Book reviews

  • Stories from the front line

  • Tips and tools

  • "How to do" type articles

  • Examples of best practice from around the world

  • Ask Alec (The project manager's 'Agony Aunt')

  • Tips on how to pass the PMP® examination

Authors are encouraged to suggest themes for regular columns and multi-part articles and also how the content should be presented.
The Readership is global. Please avoid using words like 'foreign' when referring to non-home country subject matter.
Articles should be concise and packed with information, advice and examples.

Article length

Each article should be approximately 1000 words in length.
Multi-part articles can appear in the same issue or in consecutive issues. Each part should be approximately 1000 words in length and the author should state his/her preference.

Publication Date

Publication dates can vary.

Publication Deadline

We work about four weeks in advance to keep content up to date. All articles for publication must be submitted 4 weeks before publication date of the issue in which you want the article published.
This is especially important when submitting date sensitive or seasonal articles.

Contributing Editors

We are interested in building up a small team of regular contributing editors.
The contributing editors can and will influence the content of the magazine and their personalities will be reflected in their own regular columns.
As PROJECTmagazine matures we will become more selective in content and quality of the written word.

Diagrams (images) etc should be in .gif or .jpeg format, reduced to the default 256 color palette and minimised file size.
The maximum size of image should be 500 pixels wide by 333 pixels high. If this image size is too small then a thumbnail graphic should also be provided which will be included in the article with a link to the larger image.
